Invitations to the Global Smart Education Conference 2024

Since its inception in 2020, the Global Smart Education Conference (GSE) has served as a crucial platform for international collaboration and exchange in smart education. GSE2024, co-organized by Beijing Normal University and UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE), will be held in Beijing from August 18 to 20, 2024. With its theme on “Educational Transformation & International Understanding”, GSE2024 will feature high-level dialogues, thematic forums, roundtable discussions on smart education policies, technologies, and practices. It aims to facilitate in-depth exchanges and collaboration to pave the way for a brighter future in smart education for all of humanity.

Themes

GSE2024 will invite academicians, experts, scholars, international organization representatives, government officials, principals, teachers, students, as well as corporate and media guests to deliver speeches. It plans to organize thematic forums in the following four categories:

Core Spotlights: Digital Reform and Educational Transformation , Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Education, Data Governance and Security, Physical and Mental Wellbeing, Academy-Industry Partnership , International Cooperation.

Transforming Education Systems: Quality School Education, Tertiary Education for Future of Job, Lifelong Education for All.

Transforming Pedagogies: Digitalization of Experimental Teaching, Digital Textbook, Smart Campus and Education Equipment, Authentic Assessment, Blended Education, Green Learning Agenda.

Transforming Digital Capabilities: Showcasing Regional Best Practices, Smart Learning and Education Design, Smart Village, Teacher Education and Digital Literacy, Chinese Language Teaching.

We welcome everyone to join GSE2024. Please register at the official website. GSE2024 extends an invitation for voluntary submissions showcasing exemplary practices or innovative solutions in the realm of smart education. We kindly request submission of your own exemplary practices by June 18, 2024. GSE2024 also endeavors to disseminate selected speeches through esteemed academic journals, and media coverage is anticipated to amplify the reach and impact of the event.
