Global Smart Education Conference 2023 to be held on August 18 to 20
The 2023 edition of the Global Smart Education Conference (GSE2023) will be held in Beijing from 18 to 20 August, 2023. This year’s conference will return with more diverse forms including thematic forums, high-level dialogues, pre-conferences, workshops, webinars and exhibitions. We welcome speakers from around the world who are interested in and specialized in smart education can join us to share forward-looking information, provoke discussion and discover solutions to today’s challenges in education.
The GSE 2023 includes ten thematic forums and will take a hybrid mode which includes online and onsite sessions. International research outcomes and related sets of cases will be released during the event. Technologies including VR/AR will be applied to build a metaverse venue to improve audiences’ experience of communication and interaction and also to display our innovative solutions for digital education. We welcome all global partners to join us to co-organize the thematic forums and parallel sessions to grace the event.
Review on the Previous GSE Conferences
Beijing Normal University has organized six “Smart Education Conferences” in collaboration with international organizations and universities at home and abroad since 2016. Thousands of experts and scholars in education and technology from more than 50 countries and international organizations such as UNESCO and OECD have attended the conferences. The conferences have been broadcast live to the world through People’s Daily Online, XinhuaNet, Guangming Net and China Education News Web, as well as on media platforms like Weibo, Tik Tok, Ding Talk, Tencent TV, Facebook, and Edmodo. The conferences focused on cutting-edge areas and hot issues covering K-12 Education, Higher Education, Vocational Education, Transforming Education through Intelligent Technology, AI and Future Education, and Smart Learning and Futures of Education. Some research outcomes such as the “Horizon Project Reports” and the “White Paper on the Construction of Smart Education Demonstration Zones” as well as projects including the “Joint Project of Rethinking and Redesigning National Smart Education Strategy” and the“E-Library for Teachers” were released at the series of conferences, during which plenty of Innovative solutions for integrating intelligent technology and education systems were also exhibited to audiences. Besides, the Global Competition on Design for Future Education had a launch session at the conferences.
